What's Brewing

National Fallen Firefighters Memorial

The National Fallen Firefighter Memorial is located on the grounds of the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD. As we have for the last 6 years, we are currently working to memorialize those firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty during the past year. The 1998 memorial plaque will be dedicated in September.

National Naval Medical Center POW/MIA Memorial

We are working with the staff at the Naval Medical Center to erect a POW/MIA memorial to be dedicated to naval medical personnel. The memorial will consist of a large center tablet showing the POW/MIA emblem with a smaller tablet on each side listing the names of POW/MIA's. There will also be two stones engraved with the Sailor's Creed and the Hospital Corpsman's Pledge. New flagpoles, walkways and benches will complete the memorial.

Bishop Aimilianos Laloussis Memorial

This is a striking memorial dedicated to the life and accomplishments of Bishop Laloussis. It will be placed in a small park dedicated to the Bishop in front of the St. Sophia Cathedral on Massachusetts Avenue in the District. A central gray granite column containing an etched image of Bishop Laloussis on the top face and texts on the four sides will be the focal point of this small park. A walkway around the memorial surrounded granite benches will invite visitors to pause and enjoy this beautifully landscaped "pocket park". Plans call for the names of donors to be added to the benches.

Memorial Park, Frederick, Maryland

We are currently working on a project to remodel the Memorial Park in Frederick, MD. The work will involve installing a granite ceremonial area of black granite with gray granite inlays. The gray granite will have several carvings and text dedicating the area to Frederick County's veterans. There will also be a small bell tower with the ships bell from the USS Frederick.

Green Acres School

Work is well underway to adding the names of donors to the new addition at the Green Acres School, Rockville, MD. The names will be etched on black granite and placed in the wall surrounding a new addition to the school.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee

We are currently working on a addition to the list of donor's names carved in Absolute Black Granite at the NRSC building. Over the last four years we have added several hundred names to this little known memorial to the legacy of President Ronald Reagan. This project will involve placing new granite and completing existing tablets.
